Even though Halloween is over, we’re still handing out our tricks and treats with these helpful tips. And in our bag for this month, we have everything from customer appreciation on social media to the best way to sign-off on your blog!
So, let’s look at these tips from October 2019!
Tip #1: Practice Customer Appreciation on Social Media
When was the last time you engaged with your customers on social media? If it’s been a while, then you may be alienating your clients and losing business.
In this video, Joe gives some helpful tips on how to show your customers appreciation on social media.
Tip #2: Keep Your Home Page Simple
Have you ever clicked on a website and suddenly felt very overwhelmed? Between the text, pictures, and menus, it can sometimes be hard for a new customer to navigate a site.
When you’re looking at the design of your website, you want the homepage to welcome new customers. You can achieve this by keeping your homepage as simple as possible.
Your site should answer two questions clearly and concisely: 1) What is your company? 2) What do you do? After all, these are the two questions customers will be most curious about.
We recently redesigned our website and branding with these best practices in mind. Our behind the scenes look will help you understand how updating your website and branding is beneficial for you and your audience.

Tip #3: How to Choose the Right Font for Your Business
Having a font that compliments your business well leaves a great first impression with potential customers. But with so many to choose from, how do you know which font is perfect for your business?
In the video below, Jackie breaks down the different styles of fonts and what each style says about your business. She also shares how to mix and match different styles of fonts for the greatest impact on your audience.
Tip #4: Vary Up Your Blog CTAs
Do you end almost every blog you write just by saying, “Call Now?” If you do, you might want to think about using other, “softer” calls to action.
If you have a large audience base, then some of your users might not want to call. Instead, you can ask your readers to leave a comment, follow you on your social media platforms, subscribe to your newsletter, or download your eBook.
If you give your readers a variety of actions they can take, it increases how you can engage with your customers!
